JUVÉDERM® and Restylane® are the most common fillers that fill in fine lines, restore volume, and even minimize the look of some scars. These treatments only take a few minutes per injection and require little to no downtime. Side effects are minimal and include redness, soreness, and mild bruising at the injection site. How Does BOTOX Work?

BOTOX, Jeuveau, and other neurotoxins work by temporarily relaxing the facial muscles that cause expression lines, such as frown lines, forehead creases, and crow’s feet. When injected with precision, BOTOX blocks nerve signals to targeted muscles, softening existing wrinkles and helping prevent deeper lines from forming. What Areas Does BOTOX Treat?

What To Do Before and After BOTOX?

Before BOTOX, we recommend you communicate openly with us about any medications or conditions that may impact your treatment. You should also avoid taking blood thinners about 1 week before your visit to minimize the risk of bruising or bleeding at the injection sites. Finally, we suggest arriving to your appointment with a “clean,” make-up free face.

After BOTOX, we encourage you to avoid touching the injection sites and suggest you remain upfront for a few hours to minimize the risk of unintended migration. We also recommend refraining from strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours.

What Happens During BOTOX Treatment?

During your BOTOX appointment, your injector will cleanse the skin before using a very fine needle to place small amounts of BOTOX into targeted muscles. The appointment is typically quick and well-tolerated, with little to no downtime afterward.

When Will I See the Results?

While initial results may be visible within 24 to 48 hours, it typically takes about 3 to 7 days to see your full BOTOX results.

How Long Do BOTOX Results Last?

BOTOX results typically last 3 to 4 months. We recommend visiting us for routine maintenance visits to maintain your youthful look.

What to Expect During and After Filler Treatment?

During dermal filler treatment, we will review your goals, evaluate your facial anatomy, and recommend the best filler type and placement for your needs. After cleansing the treatment area, we will carefully inject small amounts of filler to restore volume, smooth lines, or enhance contour. The appointment is typically quick, well-tolerated, and results are visible right away, although mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising may occur for a few days.

How Long Do Dermal Fillers Last?

Dermal fillers typically last 6 months to 2 years, depending on the product used, the treatment area, and how quickly your body metabolizes the filler. Lip filler often lasts closer to 6 to 12 months, while fillers placed in areas such as the cheeks, chin, or jawline may last longer. We recommend periodic maintenance treatments to continue looking and feeling like a refreshed you.
