I recently had cosmetic surgery at North Raleigh Plastic Surgery with Dr. Ortiz. It was a stress-free and positive experience and I am very happy with the outcome! Dr. Ortiz is a skilled and compassionate surgeon and the whole team is professional and kind. I highly recommend this practice.

My journey with Dr. Ortiz and his staff at North Raleigh Plastic Surgery started after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had planned on just removing my breast and being done but my doctor has suggested I go meet Dr. Ortiz before I made that decision. So glad that I did, he made me feel so comfortable and talked me through what my options were. I decided to have a double mastectomy and then we started on my breast reconstruction. I'm so happy that I chose to get my breast done with Dr. Ortiz I feel so confident and happy with my results. I highly recommend Dr. Juan Ortiz at North Raleigh Plastic Surgery after recently having a cosmetic procedure at the facility. Dr. Ortiz was very detail-oriented and I could tell that he was highly knowledgeable and skilled by the recommendations he made for my procedure. He seemed like he took into account my current body and my concerns when he made his own suggestions. Although I am less than a week out from surgery, I am in very little pain, the symmetry is impeccable, and the incisions look like they will heal smoothly. Being a middle aged mother of 6 with self-doubt due to body image issues, it weighed heavily on my mind that I needed to find a way to help my situation. No matter what I did with diet or exercise, the sagging skin just wouldn't go away. My first consultation with Dr. Juan Ortiz was actually a positive experience. He pretty much broke down what I needed to fix my stomach. After the surgery, I had multiple complications, but unlike most providers, he stuck it out with me and followed my recovery journey for over a year. For any provider to do that is phenomenal. I had his personal phone number if I had any problems and he answered me with several reassurances that everything was going to be okay. He was even able to remove the scar. It just goes to show he's not just a plastic surgeon, he's a provider with heart.

Cuando surgió el recall de los implantes fui a donde la Dr Ortiz para que me hiciera la remoción de mis implantes y su trabajo y dedicación al paciente es excelente. Su equipo de trabajo es bien respetuoso y amables. La oficina tiene un ambiente pacifico y muy agradable todos. Estoy muy contenta con mi procedimiento y como se ve la reconstrucción después de quitar los implantes. Muy profesional desde el día 1 que fui a la primera consulta.

I had an excellent experience from the first moment I met Dr. Juan Ortiz at North Raleigh Plastic Surgery. I was scheduled to meet with four doctors for a consultation for blepharoplasty, full abdomen liposuction, and neck lift. I wanted a surgeon who was skilled but also someone who listens to what I wanted from my procedures. The moment I meet Dr. Ortiz, I felt comfortable. I explain to Dr. Ortiz that I had on bag under my left eye but did need anything done to the right eye. It was refreshing, and he never tried to push me into any additional procedure on my right eye. We talked about the neck lift and Liposuction procedure, as well. I left his office feeling he listen. The next day I called his office because I had another question, but I was told by Dr. Ortiz's staff you can come in and see Dr. Ortiz. Later that day, I went into his office, and I had just some general questions about risks. Dr. Ortiz explained to me the risk and realistic expectations. As I got up to leave the room, Dr. Ortiz said something that helped me decide that my search for a Plastic Surgeon was over, "if you have any questions or concerns that I can answer come by anytime." That same day I scheduled all three of my procedures. My surgery was on September 27, 2019. I wanted to hold off writing my review because I wanted to make sure his skills were also excellent. I had no pain or itching to my left eye, only some swelling that went away in a few days. The neck lift I had a little discomfort and numbness around my ears and chin area, which I consider to be normal. The liposuction to my abdomen and love handles were very uncomfortable and felt weird to the touch. Two months post-surgery, I'm anxious to see my final six months results. My procedure has given me the motivation I needed to eat healthily and exercise. When I reach my six months, I will post the before and after pictures. Dr. Ortiz's staff is also excellent.

10/10! This place is awesome! First off everyone at the office is super kind and helpful. I went to visit Dr. Ortiz for cosmetic surgery and right off the bat he made me feel very comfortable in my decision and made sure I Was prepared. My recovery was ten times better then I imagined, very little pain. My follow up went fabulous and can’t wait to see how it is in 8 weeks! Thank you again Dr. Ortiz! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dr. Ortiz for any/all of your plastic surgery needs. He, as well as his trained staffed, are always eager to answer any questions and completely make you feel at ease during your consultation, preop, surgery and ultimately post op appointments. You will not find a more skilled individual who has the expertise and knowledge to help you achieve your desired outcome and be strong/beautiful & confident following any procedure. What I love and respect about Dr. Ortiz is his attention to detail. He is very sterile with his techniques and prides himself in being a perfectionist. You will not be disappointed when going to him. I have entrusted him with multiple body surgeries and I am highly pleased, 4 weeks postop now.
